Organizers

My name is Rachel and I live and work in Brighton.  At the end of last year, my Mom (Bev) and I attended a meeting of the Northumberland Chapter of 100 Women Who Care.  We loved how a large group of women, each making a small donation, could make such a huge difference to local charities, and decided we could find lots of people in Brighton who feel the same way.

Our goal is to make a direct impact on organizations that help our neighbours and local community.

There are four of us helping to organize this group and run our meetings.  The following is a list of who we are and what we do:

Rachel:  I run the meetings, do the website and all documents and correspondence, and generally organize everything.

Bev:  Bev takes care of nominations as well as planning and managing meeting locations.

Keitha:  Keitha is in charge of registration at meetings, taking care of our money and arranging door prizes.

Priscilla:  Priscilla is our contact for radio / newspapers / advertising and also helps with member registration.

Please keep in mind that I don’t make many of the decisions alone.  When things come up, the four of us meet and decide (sometimes even vote on) what we think is best for the group.  In a group this size, it’s impossible to make everyone happy all the time, but please let us know if you have questions or input and we’ll address them as well as we can.
